Dynamic’s Team Meets General Petraeus

Dynamic Flowform’s management team attended the AUSA Massachusetts Bay Chapter Award Dinner held on March 4, 2010 in Burlington, MA.   Before the evening’s program began, the team had the opportunity to chat with General David H. Petraeus, Commanding General , CENTCOM (US Central Command).   General Petraeus was awarded the Chapter’s 2010 Person of the Year Arthur R. McMillan Award.  “With national and international partners, U.S. Central Command promotes cooperation among nations, responds to crises, and deters or defeats state and nonstate aggression, and supports development and, when necessary, reconstruction in order to establish the conditions for regional security, stability, and prosperity.” 

General Petraeus assumed command of Central Command in October, 2008.  Previous to that, he led the Multi-National Force in Iraq.  He held top positions at the US Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth as well as on many of the missions and operations in Iraq and Bosnia.  He has held leadership positions in airborne, mechanized, and air assault infantry units in Europe and the US as well as many staff assignments including Aide to the Chief of Staff of the Army.   General Petraeus has as MPA and PH.D.  He is highly decorated within the army.  US News and World Report, Time and Esquire Magazines have all named him as one of the top leaders/ most influential people.   (Massachusetts Bay Chapter AUSA Program for the Award Dinner)

Seventh Flowform Machine Installed

Dynamic Flowform has installed its seventh flowform machine.   This new equipment is capable of producing tubes that range from .500″ to 16″ diameter by 30 feet long.    The flowform machine was specifically made to produce small diameter tubes with long lengths.    This new capability opens up new flowform applications in various markets including:  oil/gas, power generation, chemical, petrochemical, food/dairy, biopharmaceutical and defense industry.  Hydraulic tubing and heat exchanger tubing made of Nickel and Titanium alloys can now be economically flowformed with this equipment.
